BEAUTIFUL TEETH ARE SOMETHING
YOU ENJOY YOUR WHOLE LIFE LONG
Jaw misalignments don't just rectify themselves. Which is why a visit to our surgery is the "best recipe". Particularly for children and teenagers. But when is the best time to have malocclusions corrected? Timing is very important. Often it can prevent more complex procedures in the future. As a general rule: The earlier treatment is started, the less complicated and more successfully it can proceed.
Phase 1 – Starting at the beginning.
Overbite and crossbite can be corrected successfully and without complications in very young patients - even as young as four.
Phase 2 – Losing the milk teeth.
Serious jaw misalignments from birth are best treated at primary school age – when the second teeth are breaking through.
Phase 3 – Beautiful teeth before the start of puberty.
In the later second dentition phase, from 9 to 10 years old, braces or brackets are used to move the teeth into the correct position. Pre-adolescent children, in particular, benefit from an early start to treatment. As we all know: The sooner you start, the sooner you finish.
